Lots of our items on here are influenced by the Pokémon games, especially the type enhancers fighters get at the first of every month (provided they post 4 or more times the previous month). Here, all our characters, whether they're a fighter or not, are organized by type, although non-fighters obviously have no use for items. Some characters are more than one type, in which case they will be featured in both lists. Elemental types (like Hiei) and animal or mixed types that can manipulate the elements (like Kurama) will be listed under the elements they control. Kami types (with the exception of kitsunes, which are sorted like animal types) are either Normal (if they fight by energy, like Kokou or Enki) or Fairy (if they fight by manipulating objects like Gama or Suzuki, or their power is copying, like Rando). Animal and mixed types that use energy-based attacks, like Yomi and Shura, are also Normal type; ordinary humans are sorted into this category as well. Psychic humans obviously are Psychic, as their name implies, and monster types are sorted into the Fighting category. If an animal demon does not have any clear powers, such as in the case of Koto, they will be listed as Normal type.
