Genkai vs. Shizuru (MAKAI TOURNAMENT X)

[Scoreboard]

RULES: Genkai and Shizuru will take turns fighting with the "attack" button in the quick reply box below. The Scoreboard (that's me!) will post intermittently, keeping track of their HP. When one combatant's HP falls to or below zero, she has lost consciousness and the remaining fighter has won! Each fighter has one week, or seven days, to show up at the battle by making an entry post. If neither show up, the battle will be archived and declared a tie. If only one shows up, that combatant will be declared the winner by default and the battle will be archived. If both fighters show up before the seven days are completed, the battle will begin as soon as both have arrived. If the battle goes one week or more without being updated, the fighter with the highest health will be declared the winner and the battle will be archived. Now without further ado...Begin!

[Shizuru Kuwabara]

Shizuru didn't think she had a snowball's chance in hell at beating Master Genkai, but she was in this tournament for the fun, and she had to try. She had been working on her Spirit Dagger during training, and she wanted to show the old psychic human what she had learned.

[Master Genkai]

Genkai didn't even know why she was fighting in this tournament, to be honest. Maybe just to have something to do other than to train dimwits and play video games all day. She could see Shizuru was eager to fight her, though, so she decided she might as well give it a try.

[Shizuru Kuwabara]

Shizuru started the match by sticking her Spirit Dagger into Genkai!

[Master Genkai]

Genkai easily used some energy to block Shizuru's attack. In return, she gave Shizuru a hard kick in the gut!

Shizuru thought Genkai's kicks would be tougher than that! She kicked the old lady back!

[Master Genkai]

Genkai was surprised at the force of the young woman's kick; maybe she was getting older than she thought. But this time she gave Shizuru a punch in the face!

Shizuru managed to block most of the attack, leaving only a little pain. Then she punched Genkai's face back!

Genkai, reeling from the punch, shot a blast of energy at Shizuru's stomach!

Genkai's punch didn't hurt all that much, so Shizuru stabbed Genkai with her Spirit Dagger!
