Mizu vs. Natsumi (MAKAI TOURNAMENT X)

[Scoreboard]

RULES: Mizu and Natsumi will take turns fighting with the "attack" button in the quick reply box below. The Scoreboard (that's me!) will post intermittently, keeping track of their HP. When one combatant's HP falls to or below zero, she has lost consciousness and the remaining fighter has won! Each fighter has one week, or seven days, to show up at the battle by making an entry post. If neither show up, the battle will be archived and declared a tie. If only one shows up, that combatant will be declared the winner by default and the battle will be archived. If both fighters show up before the seven days are completed, the battle will begin as soon as both have arrived. If the battle goes one week or more without being updated, the fighter with the highest health will be declared the winner and the battle will be archived. Now without further ado...Begin!

[Mizu]

Mizu showed up first, not too concerned. Part of it, of course, was that she was doing this to participate and not really to become the queen, but she was also at an advantage here. The girl she was fighting was very inexperienced as a fighter, only thirteen years of age, and she was a fire demon. And, as everyone knew, fire was weak to water!

[Natsumi Minamino]

Natsumi arrived at the stadium, mostly afraid, and likely for the same reasons Mizu seemed fairly confident: she was a fire demon and an inexperienced one at that, up against Mizu's skills and her water powers. Would she be able to take this one? Or would she be beaten once again?

[Mizu]

Mizu started by shooting her Bubble Gun at Natsumi!

[Natsumi Minamino]

Natsumi had a little more confidence after winning the fire demons' battle royale, though barely. But the bubble bullets hit her very badly. Through the pain, she used a Firework on Mizu's wrist.

[Mizu]

"Ouch!" said Mizu, feeling a little firework explode painfully on her wrist. However, she didn't think it was broken, so she sent a Water Bomb at Natsumi!

[Natsumi Minamino]

"Ack!" Natsumi was knocked backwards as the water splashed all over her, putting her out. She was soaked! She wasn't as good at conjuring fire as her brother Ryu was, but she shot a small flame at Mizu!

[Mizu]

That was another painful attack! Could Mizu have been too confident in her water powers on a fire demon? She used Bubble Gun on Natsumi!

[Natsumi Minamino]

Natsumi had been working on making shields, and she tried her best with this one. Some of the bubbles still cut her, but the majority didn't get her. She grinned and blew up a small firework on Mizu's wrist!

[Mizu]

Mizu cried out in pain as her wrist was blown up and almost broke! She used a Water Bomb on Natsumi!
