Kurama vs. Miyuki (MAKAI TOURNAMENT X)

[Scoreboard]

RULES: Kurama and Miyuki will take turns fighting with the "attack" button in the quick reply box below. The Scoreboard (that's me!) will post intermittently, keeping track of their HP. When one combatant's HP falls to or below zero, he or she has lost consciousness and the remaining fighter has won! Each fighter has one week, or seven days, to show up at the battle by making an entry post. If neither show up, the battle will be archived and declared a tie. If only one shows up, that combatant will be declared the winner by default and the battle will be archived. If both fighters show up before the seven days are completed, the battle will begin as soon as both have arrived. If the battle goes one week or more without being updated, the fighter with the highest health will be declared the winner and the battle will be archived. Now without further ado...Begin!

[Miyuki Minamino]

Miyuki showed up first. This was it...her chance to become Queen of Makai, and to win this tournament. But first, she would have to get through her father, who was known for being a good fighter. She wasn't sure if she would be able to do this, but she had to have confidence, she reminded herself, waiting for him to show up.

[Youko Kurama]

When Kurama arrived at the ring, he saw that his daughter was already there. He knew his daughter wanted to win, perhaps more than he did, but that didn't mean he was going to go easy on her. She probably didn't want him to, anyway. It was time he started treating her like the fighter she was.

"You can have the first move, Miyuki," he told her, since she had arrived first.

[Miyuki Minamino]

"Thank you, Otou-san," said Miyuki, throwing an Icicle Dart at Kurama!

Damage Dealt: 19

[Youko Kurama]

The Icicle Dart didn't hurt Kurama much, and he stopped it with his hand. Then he threw a Rose Dart at Miyuki in return!

[Miyuki Minamino]

The dart hit one of Miyuki's nerves and she felt the pain running up her arm. But she took it out and threw it right back at him!

[Youko Kurama]

"Ouch!" said Kurama. Who knew his own dart could hurt him that much? He used Rose Whip on Miyuki instead!

[Miyuki Minamino]

Miyuki noticed she was bleeding from the Rose Whip, but not seriously hurt. So she used Shards of Winter on her Otou-san!

ATK Missed!

[Youko Kurama]

Kurama easily dodged the Shards of Winter and followed up on Miyuki with Rose Whiplash!

[Miyuki Minamino]

Miyuki felt herself bleeding from the Rose Whiplash and wondered, could she go up against her Otou-san after all? She decided to use Dry Ice Freeze on him again, hoping she wouldn't miss again.
